I'm kinda of curious as to what Pokemon are favorites of kids who get into the franchise now. I'd imagine it might skew towards newer stuff, but with mainstays like Charizard, Pikachu, and Mewtwo always being popular. Though I've been playing since I first played Red at age 6, and my favorite is Galvantula.

Are you referring to the Battle Tower stuff? Because when I was younger I remember finding the sheer difficulty of that place being staggering. I still love it now though. And hate it. Two sides of the same coin really.

Wait $90?

I've found they only have trouble with dragons for the most part though. I had a Khajit who had a problem with dragons… until I made him a vampire (with Dawnguard installed). Having a super mode to fight dragons made it more interesting. Frost dragons become kind of a joke. Flame dragons become a pain especially

I've been enjoying it so far, but I'm a sucker for turn based JRPG's in general.

The 3DS couldn't do the GBA virtual console I think. (There's some leftover GBA stuff that allows for the ambassador games to happen, but those lack a lot of virtual console features). But the Wii U has both GBA and DS games. And I think Europe has Lost Age. Not that means anything to me living in North America. Other

Ah that's disappointing. I found it funny that Link Between Worlds has the villain hijack Ganon. Normally having a series villain be outdone like that would be kinda of eye roll worthy (This new villain means business! Look how effortlessly he brought down the old guy!) but Ganon hijacking the villains has been so

Is there a recommended point at which I should do the color dungeon? I just beat dungeon 3, and picked up the Ocarina.

I don't know your opinion on Zelda in general, but unless you dislike the series, I feel confident in saying you made a good choice. Also Golden Sun! I'm going through the first one now on the Wii U, after buying it a year ago. (I got distracted by work). Lost Age still hasn't come out on the Wii U virtual console

Yeah, I think the hijacked by Ganon is a little overdone. Though non-Ganon villains tend to be a bit of a toss up. I liked the guy from Phantom Hourglass because he felt so alien, but Spirit Tracks seemed to have a Ganon clone. (I guess Spirit Tracks was made when they had an established timeline, and they are keeping

Pikmin 3: It is indeed the final level. And looking at my commenting history, you were the one who warned me about it. I may have killed my momentum in playing it, because I switched my hooked up system to the 360 last Sunday (It's what I've been doing each week), thus the Dragon Age talk. And I've been pretty busy

I think any sort of mention of Bethesda will end up in Fallout 4 being brought up. They haven't released a big game in a while right?

I died a lot later on in the game (though this speaks of my own Zelda skill level at the time more than anything. This was before I managed to clear the first two), and not having re rent the items every single freaking time was pretty useful. Plus some of the upgraded items are really fun. I remember seriously liking

I don't have kids, and don't know if I'll plan on having them, so I guess I don't have much to contribute other than what I've played last week.

Well no one is going to deny the love that she has for her son. But I thought she was part of the decision to leave him for dead when he was an infant?

Oh. Apparently I'm in the wrong field.

Sumerian mythology is pretty interesting, considering the influence it's had. I just felt it was weird that the book came to a stop every so often to have the equivalent of the hero googling things. Plus I didn't figure out how it worked into the main plot until near the end. That may have been a reading failure on my

I've recently finished Snow Crash, by Neal Stephenson. It was a fun action book in places. I feel like the author did a good job of world building without resorting to giant exposition dumps. But then the plot itself was a different matter. It heavily relied on giant exposition dumps, involving hacking, and Sumerian

I remember getting called ginger a lot. I think people tried to use it as an insult sometimes, but I didn't consider it much of one. I remember reacting more negatively towards anti-Semitic or homophobic insults worse, but people weren't able to come up with those just by looking at me.

Well I lack freckles. But I don't lack acne scars on my forehead.
