@ Jesus Fucking Christ: Ugh, just saw "Stymied By Buckwheat", otherwise I would've typed just one response. Also brilliant.

@Jesus Fucking Christ: Even better. Well played, O Lord.

I'm very pleased to see
Polkadot Cadaver get mentioned; even more so to see Dog Fashion Disco. Polkadot Cadaver are nice and all, but DFD was fucking mental. It's like porno music for a circus full of serial killers.

@GeoGreg: I like Kaled Mutants, but maybe we could use:

That's for "Vampires Everywhere!" by the way, which is a really fucking stupid name. Their merch setup at that show looked like the Twilight clearance section at Hot Topic.

They've been on a slight hiatus lately with solo projects, but they haven't broken up, as far as I know. They still play shows in Baltimore, but Big In Japan have been playing more.

Yeah, it's Korean instead of Chinese, but "Dark Side of The Sun Yung Moon" would be just fine with me.

@Bill Reed: Very nice Doctor Who reference.

I missed seeing them open for Boom Boom Satellites here in DC a few months back. Basically, I dodged a bullet, because my god, do they suck. Look up the video for "Immortal Love" and curse me later.

Sorry for the double post, but you might want to look at the "Jungle Jazz" series as well. It's a five-volume set of drum 'n bass/acid jazz, and I highly recommend it.

I plug this group relentlessly, but Lake Trout are fucking awesome.

@tragically: Are they wearing the home or away kit?

Wait a minute…
When did Jorge Garcia bleach his hair?

Nothing For DJ Rels?
"Theme For A Broken Soul" is the shit.

@Wallet Inspector: Done and done.

Jeopardy robot?!
Fuck that. I've been a Jeopardy freak since I was 7; I'll go to war with this fucking thing. Fear not, humans; I got this.

Werd on WHFS, but I actually would not listen to them for a long time because they wouldn't play Led Zeppelin, and DC101, as stupid as they were, actually did from time to time. I was forced to listen at my best friend's place, heard Soul Coughing for the first time, and it was ON after that. Once they cut Lou Brutus

@Pugs Malone: Why the fuck did I click that link at work? I can't stop laughing now.

@Fah Fah Fah: I remember that cover well; that was also the Gianni Versace post-mortem issue. Why I remember that, I don't know.

Fuck knows why I'm doing this, but: @The_VZA. Mostly I bitch about soccer.
