the 'Peterson' part is brilliant.

I find it extremely disappointing that the preview channel nowadays plays old movies and reruns of Cybil, with just two rows of channels slowly cycling through at the bottom. It takes for fuckin' ever.

Clearly, Sims didnt get that the joke was that Peterman is an entirely different person when he's at home. How could this be confused with lazy writing and wild character changes? Its not as if we've ever seen Peterman at home before, to know that he was being portrayed significantly differently just for the sake of a

True, @avclub-bca3531762af8a993c4f60c48fd5e33b:disqus , Sims is much more of the fuck'em n' leave'm type. I know

I know we give Sims a lot of flack for the season 8 reviews, but he is pretty right about The Money. Most of these plots really dont go anywhere. I'm sure there are funny jokoes, (arent there always?) but it really took some effort for me to even remember how any situations in this episode were resolved.

He's sick of the Swiss!

The Hispanic (I dont remember right now if he was Mexican) drug dealer knew OF the story of Black Peter, that doesnt mean its celebrated anywhere in the Americas. Actually, the original idea about Black Peter was that Santa basically enslaved a Moor from Spain to make him into his helper, and Black Peter would take

Yes, according to reality. What, you thought Sedaris just made that up?

I cant believe Ren this, but is it any worse than the time Stimpy called Lucy Lui a c*nt?

T.R.- Bully!

Oh, political joke! Ziiing!

Is it as good as the Star Wars Holiday Special?

Chicago is where a show goes when it wants to use a major metropolis as its backdrop, but doesnt want to offend those brain-dead hicks in Peoria (or so I've heard). It's like New York but less Jewy, or Los Angeles but less gay. See also Seattle.

No Yak Shaving? But I already lathered up my yak!

I love Cult of Youth. Great review. For fans of Death in June, Theatre of Hate, the folkier side of Dead Can Dance, and Fire+Ice minus all the occult nonsense. Their emphasis on anger and emotion also draws comparisons to an early Billy Bragg. Definitely one of the best releases of the year.

Oh, so we dont like Hook anymore? Alright then.

*slow clap*

Nice. And by the way, not that anyone cares, but though modestly endowed by Hollywood standards, I think Mara is still too chesty to play Lisbeth. Her character is supposed to be mired in body-image issues. Rapace embodied (pardon the pun) the character very well.

Thomson to Thompson: "So it's definitely breast cancer."

I always wondered what Tintin would look like as a Real Doll. Now I know.
