Smell my cheese, you mother!

I'm happy to see so much Keaton-love on here, I've felt for a long time that he's been criminally overlooked as a comic actor. Has anyone ever seen him on Letterman? He has to be one of the funniest, most charismatic guests I've seen on there.

I love that at least four of us turned up to this thread with the intention of posting that Partridge quote. Maybe the world's not such a bad place after all.

"-ockman, just outside the County Courtroom where an argument about chowder has spilled over into the biggest trial in Springfield history."

Season Two
I know this is completely off-topic, but I've been rewatching season two on DVD and it's fantastic! Especially the second half. Somewhere along the way I'd dismissed it as being good, but not great, and I was dead wrong. Now I feel the pain of the other posters who have also expressed their dismay that this

Fuck, why didn't anyone tell me David Caruso was back? Sheeeeeeit.

Well played, good sir!

I laughed out loud.

WHAT R U SAYIN MAN MIKE PORNOTY IS THE BEST DRUMMER OF ALL TIME JUST LOOK AT ALL THE AWAEDS HE WON FROM MODERN DRUMMER

Ah shit, I know the meme is pretty much dead now but I couldn't think of anything funnier to say.

It's not unusual…
to blow me first.

Also, The Wedding Singer's not too bad. Or at least my 17 year-old self thought so.

I would go and check myself, but I'm entranced by that phenomenal profile pic. Niiiiiiice.

Level Best As Ever deserves props for that awesome quote.

Electro-shock Blues
"The Eels' 1998 album Electro-Shock Blues is a beautifully realized concept album about the sister of lead singer E, and her suicide."

Nah.

It's pretty obvious that the Pitchfork writing staff (like any writing staff) isn't unified on all fronts, and that opinions of albums can change over time. And yeah, some of the writers are godawful, while some are great.

I thought Pitchfork's review was pretty fair, even though I disagree with it. It seemed like a pretty honest appraisal from someone who was otherwise a fan of M.I.A.

People complain when Pitchfork/AV Club advertise the shit out of something and then give it a good review too. You can't win with these douchebags.

Tim Finn? The brother who was born FIRST?! Nah, jokes…
