Come on man, that shit was funny.

Thanks. I'll take a look at season 3.

Sharron did say it, and while it was cool, it didn't fit because the 8s aren't under anyone's command exactly. I know the centurions don't talk, but it would have been cool if they did, just so they could say that.

That is interesting too..

I know this is a BSG board, and I don't want to get us to far off topic, but I watched the first few episodes of DS9 and thought it was pretty lame. On the other hand, people on here keep saying it got decent and had some good arcs. If I wanted to get right to the good seasons, where would I start and where would I

Of all the things they abandoned in the remake, the only one I really miss is the centurions saying "By your command."

No one finds it interesting that Baltar and Ellen are basically saying the same thing? That seemed like a hell of an important point to me.

I don't know, if the flaws hadn't been exactly of the right type, we wouldn't have known the bad guy wasn't going to give the girl back. It was ridiculously convenient, but everything else seemed to go pretty smoothly. I though Dusku was fine too. I thought her PG-13 bad girl persona fit her a lot worse than the more

I don't really have a problem with them filling in holes they created. I don't think you necessarily have to know where a series is going to end when you start. It was just a pretty obvious one and this is a good way to do it, though from a story telling standpoint, having him be a two might have been better.

I meant Chris, sorry. I should read the byline.

Baltar's spiel
Was exactly what was coming out of Ellen's mouth. I'm not sure that the nonsense that Zach dismissed at the beginning of the season isn't going to be the whole point of the series.

They had to figure out why Sharron was an 8. Only way to do it I guess.

There were too many writers lines
You can tell them because Michael is speaking (as opposed to narrating) when the camera is on someone else, who isn't doing anything, and he is saying something right on the nose.

My recollection is: they saw the entrance to the orchid and then it disappeared. They walked away from it and then found the well. I guess I could have the directions wrong, they could have been going deeper into what would eventually become the Orchid.

Right, and why send the other dude (the guy Ana Lucia shot) if they already had a mole on the plane?

He kidnapped her and then raised her. He's a (more) evil Michael Scott, I'm telling you.

I didn't see Ben's hissy fit as a particularly heroic moment either. He's an evil, manipulative sonofabitch, and he is definitely still the janitor's kid who wants to be a big man. He's Michael Scott if Micheal was willing to kill people.

I think Chrissy's explanation is a good one, but that means the future is set as well. If Daniel can't change the past, but in his future he goes back to do something in the past, then not only is the past determined but so is the future. Which means, to me, that much of these character's agony over decisions is

Are we sure they are there before the well was dug? Maybe they were there after it was covered. If I were the Dharma Initiative, I would cover the back entrance to the time/space machine.

I hadn't thought about it, that is a good point. It is possible it was written in English, but the ideas were transplanted to Germany where they took on a more fanatical tinge (as it often seems to) so they refer to the movement by the German translation's title.
