The surprise hit of last year is back! Seriously, the first season of The 100 is maybe the biggest "Wow, this is actually a pretty great show." I've come across in a long time.

There was no workout scene so they had to do to work it into the actual crimefighting. Makes perfect sense, really.
But the "Women in Refrigerator" idea is all about context, it is about the role women play in superhero comics and how a disproportionate number are used to motivated the higher profile male leads by being killed/beaten/raped/whathaveyou.
"Fridging" is a concept that has been completely ruined over the years, it is so far removed from its original context as to be useless these days.
