I shall never forget the day my mum was walking up the stairs while Green Day's Longview was playing very loudly from my room. I was perhaps about 13 at the time.
"When masturbation's lost it's fun…" was as far as I got before the door was kicked open and the CD was confiscated.

Darryl was being a leader.

I agree.

I'm concerned that lesbians - in particular, a certain breed of lesbians - are being portrayed poorly by the show.

I am still watching. I won't give up because I have done that with shows in the past based on my inability to confront weird emotions I feel when watching. I don't know where that comes from.

I believe it will be a 'back up' plan for future seasons if ratings or critical reception begins to dip. I may be wrong, however, and I am willing to 'watch this space'.

Why doesn't Kate Mulgrew get more work?

I love you, AV Club user base.

Whilst it's acceptable to say "it was about the wine" regarding Oscar and Toby…

It was shown in the dream sequence during The Test Dream but it wasn't REALLY shown. Tony Soprano simply imagined it to have looked like this and in the dream, Tony B did not have a gun but 'metaphoricaly' used his finger, saying 'bang'. It wasn't the real thing.

It stuns me that nobody understands just how relentless Phil is. The guy is a psychotic, self-driven maniac and he was incredibly angry about his brother's death. Tony was at a precipice and his guys were being threatened, that's why he had to kill his cousin.

I think Phil knew he was dead.

Convenient isn't the right term.

Well, here goes for another big comment that nobody will see or reply to.

Where did you gather the 'eggs foreshadowing death' concept, Delvis? I've seen it mentioned elsewhere on the boards by other users but it never occurred to me before when watching the show. Did you pick up on it yourself or had you heard it from other sources?

The way this website has ignored 'Extras' is damned appaling.

Sir, you have offended me! How insulting!

Unfortunately I cannot!

There is a lot of room there to make Jim a more sane and grown-up version of Michael and I think the writers like to hint at that but he ultimately gets to win anyway.
