Dallas
Season thirteen is when Dallas really picked up steam.

Mini-Series or ongoing?
Is this a one season thing, or ongoing?
Preacher
I've never seen this show, but I agree with the Preacher analogy from what I've heard here; whatever the quality of the show may be, you have to give them some credit for such a subversive version of god.
Jim
Jim is one of the most unlikable characters on TV for me; he's smug and condescending without having given any solid evidence as to why he's so superior to everyone around him. He's far from the everyman he was (presumably) supposed to be. And recently, they've made him more inept and clumsy, so he's even less…
A Coat of Many Cupboards is that rare box set I can actually listen to end to end, as well as enjoying the self-deprecating comments in the linear notes.
Definitely holds its own with Dub Housing and Modern Dance; even if there are a lot of A-sides on it (and an ep), they're still rare in so far as this is the only in print CD upon which to find them.
Pere Ubu
"Terminal Tower" is not on this list. Therefore this list sucks. Q.E.D.
Now it's
Time for a Random Rules Pope edition.
Writing All About Steve proves that at least one person DIDN'T have something better to do.
I think watching this and then "the Room" would either drive me insane or take me to a higher realm of being.
NEwsRadio
I haven't actually watched this episode yet, but the plot with MIchael and Jim sounds like the ep of NewsRadio where Dave and Lisa are both trying to not get the manager job. And I'm willing to bet NewsRadio does it funnier…
Here's my idea:
Make each of these holiday movies 24 hours long, so you can actually spend the entire holiDAY watching them. Eventually, we can completely eliminate any real necessity to make decisions about what to watch or do on our holidays.
How 'bout
them CGI cats?
"Get Out of Denver" is okay in Dave Edmund's version. I haven't heard the Seeger version though.
The End…
of Film.
Fringe Hot Sauce
Did anyone else notice how poorly the Fringe tag is placed on that bottle? It looks like they just taped it over a normal bottle of Tobasco sauce.
Foxtrot and one other from that era; I can't pinpoint what my problem with them is. I like Steve Hackett and Peter Gabriel, but it just doesn't come together for me… Just give me some good old fashioned King Crimson or Can (who I can rest assured won't ever be in the Hall of Fame).
Genesis
I have tried to give Genesis a chance many times; I wish I could like them, but I just can't. They seem kind of obscure for the Rock and Roll hall of fame. I mean, everyone's heard of them, but I've never known anyone who really likes them. At least ABBA were popular…
Correction
Steely Dan, for example, are dad rock; Bon Jovi are Mom Rock.
Huggable Bear
I love him on 30 Rock and Moral Oral; If i saw him I would give him a huge hug, because he's like a big balding teddy bear full of comic delights.
