Yes yes yes. Inland Empire has kind of a muddy grey/green/bruisey look to it with some bright spots of red. It's a lot blearier than anything else that Lynch has done, which gives it its own appeal, even if I don't like the look of it nearly as much as stuff like this episode, or most past projects of his. One of the best episodes of TV I ever seen. Someone else on here said it was like the 'nightmare Tree of Life' which I think is just about the best way to describe it in comparison to something else, but it also becomes its own thing totally.
