Omar Little.

I'm reassessing the viability of my bestiality-themed blues project "Howlin' Goats."

This movie might be worth seeing.

Springtime For Hitler universe.

Santa's workshop.

Karn brought a lot of jazzy feel to Japan, which was a rarity in UK synth-pop. He was awesome.

Ever heard "Save A Prayer?" How about "The Chauffeur?" Those are standout tracks on Rio that are all about synths.

Yeah, while I reading the article I kept waiting for Duran to be mentioned. Rio was a smash hit record that had a ton of synths. After Rio synths were thoroughly mainstream.

'70s disaster movie nights would be an ironic hipster trend I could actually get behind. It's time to put The Room to bed and get with Airport 1975.

What's funny about WW2 in Ireland is the German espionage service seriously considered partnering with Irish Catholic resistance groups, but the Nazis jettisoned the idea when they discovered all those groups were thoroughly infiltrated by British agents and informers. They just didn't have their shit together well

Pixies will Rock you like a Novocain.

Ron Burgundy makes a cameo in the season premier.

Absolutely, that shit was very stodgy music at its core. Some of the lyrics aside, the songwriting was as old-fashioned as could be. The fresh qualities about it were the primitive playing, fast tempos, and short song lengths. But it's been decades since those qualities were fresh enough to redeem stodgy

I didn't like him equating Star Wars with Rush. Rush's best music is timeless but Star Wars is not timeless at all.

He's right about punk rock failing miserably on its own terms.

Those are fabulous records chock full of legit songwriting.

Good primer. Steve Earle's catalog is one of those I've always meant to check out but never got around to it.

Finished Breaking Bad after two days of binge viewing. It is a good show.
