Whoa, there is no such thing as a bad Peter Lorre impersonation.

"Can Goyer" is how Massholes refer to beans in the ethnic produce aisle.

*King of the vampires tries to suck out O'Neal's blood, is poisoned by toxic amounts of whiskey*

Which is just racist garbage, if you ask me. Why can't a Latino be cast in a leadership role? He even smokes cigars, for Pete's sake!

Steve Carella and the 87th Precinct crew.

McNulty's investigative sense is good but he does seem happiest on patrol. Lester has to be on Major Crimes, guy's got a brilliant mind. Kima and Bunk were working well on Homicide. And yeah, Daniels is an excellent CO, a dick to his troops but an even bigger obstacle to the higher-ups trying to undermine/not support

Great call, that also means we get the crack investigative work form the boys at the lab.

The one problem with Keith Mars is addressed in the show — he's too damn honest and would be sold out by his civic superiors and corrupt underlings rather quickly. I'd love to have him as a sheriff too, but he's best on the outside.

He sings it there and sang it during a traveling revue of the movie's music I saw back in 2002, he was great.

I'm one of the people who watches for government/policy humor and mourns its reduction in the show or missed opportunities to engage in it (a lot of Jamm stuff) because the show is good at it and it's not like I'm going to find municipal government jokes elsewhere. But I recognize that I am in a minority. The show is

"And yeah, she usually corrects the bad behavior, but she still exhibits the bad behavior."

@avclub-ff3cfb23c2c51860914b8b849da52195:disqus that could very well be the case, I haven't listened to the full albums in years. This is going on what I remember from past listens.

Oh you bastard. Now I will watch Lifetime movies forever bemoaning their lack of Cillian Murphy.

This series of posts could not be more pleasing. Well done, the both of you.

Has he ever gotten a Random Roles? Based on the response of the girlfriend and other ladies I've talked to, there is a sizable contingent of women who had huge crushes on him in Early Edition, I'd be curious to see if he's aware of this.

Well, Tony Gilroy only came in on the rewrite, the original was written by Frank Darabont.

@avclub-fa7fdeb5c05b708e5614c7e8cdb1c34d:disqus hmm. I can see Walter being quite happy that his name lives on as a Candyman-esque boogeyman, so I'm not sure that's where the show is going.

This. I am loving this series so far.

Oh man I bet she's dating that fucking Swede.
