I often say that religion isn't so much the cause of wars, but what gets the average person to fight them.

The thing about this is that the israeli-palestinian conflict isn't even really about religion to the palestinians. Sure it serves as a rallying point, and Israel justifies its actions using religion in addition to intentionally trying to stir up religious anger amongst the palistinians, but at its base its the same

When it comes to subjective things like humor or music, a bunch of people liking it kinda does mean it doesn't suck. I might disagree, but that's irrelevant because it's not my opinion that determines whether something is entertaining or funny in general.
