I think that was actually the green-card-needing former Mrs. Haverford.

Your math is backwards. The higher the average streams per day goes, the GREATER their share of the gross becomes, not smaller. Using your assumptions an average of 20 daily streams means they got half the gross, not an eighth.
I once sat behind John Lithgow on a plane and asked him about PFT. He was aware.
I'm ambivalent on Kulap at the moment, but holy hell how could this ep have not been in the best? Maybe Huebel's an acquired taste for some, but god damn did he have me rolling.
I couldn't agree more. There are very few personalities I find more irritating than Jake Fogelnest. Someone erroneously convinced him long ago that he is both funny as well as insightful about music (knowledgeable does not equal insightful) and his ego has has never recovered. The fact that he is now marring…
OK, maybe I'm going to make a fool of myself here, but I want to talk about "Chris Fairbanks". I thought that he was a character that they went further than usual to maintain (i.e. iTunes title, etc.) - it sounded like Paul Rust to me. But then I see this review and I'm so confused. I feel like we're through the…

Honest discussion here - sports division: It wasn't mentioned, but the Alabama vs. NFL team discussion on HUAL drove me crazy. I love the podcast and Josh Levin specifically, but I think his LSU kool-aid is influencing his opinion on this one. His continued insistence that Alabama could hang with an NFL team…

I only have one thing to say, and I say it robotically, "Good one."

Totally agree - I was expecting this to be in The Rest as well, mostly because Adam DeWine came across as a dick-bag for most of the episode and every time Hana Mae Lee slipped into her Asian voice I was embarrassed for her. Scott's surprise at her being a "comedian" really said it all. Thank goodness for Scott…

Good point - I'm in Chicago but familiar with Huell and Leykis from podcasts of Carolla's show. I'm assuming that Merrill Schindler falls into this bucket as well, but that was never a Carolla bit. Maybe James enjoys busting on some of these ridiculous local institutions, like how we would make fun of the Son of…

I think listening to Patrick Hruby made me want to watch more football and root for concussions to occur. Kudos to the HUAL hosts for putting the screws to him (diplomatically) on his bullshit argument.

Was the Road House HDTGM eligible this week? If so, I'm not surprised it didn't even make The Rest. I normally enjoy HDTGM, if only because the interplay between the three hosts is so good, but this episode had no energy or spark, and just kind of plodded along. The crowd didn't seem into it, and Doug wasn't really…
