Adding my support for the new format. Going sketch-by-sketch works well. I just recently rewatched the entire series, but it still helps to have stuff separated out.

You're not alone; River Phoenix was one of the first celebrity deaths that actually struck me, and I still grieve for what we lost with him. He was a supremely gifted actor (and from what I've seen you were the first to mention him), and the direction of his career indicated that he was only going to deliver more

Boy, that was really exciting! I bet you're a big Lee Marvin fan, aren't ya? Yeah, me too… I love that guy. My heart's beatin' so fast… I'm about to have a heart attack.

Excellent Episode
I caught up with this last night rather than day-of, and it's definitely the best of the season. As stated already, that's really saying a lot — this is a great season. I'm just sorry I haven't been commenting more (especially since I was so vocal last season, and clamored so much to get this on TV

It helps that the band is from out here, too, 3rd.

The first trilogy sort of pushed the limits of the plausibility of what one heroine can do, but the second trilogy was fantastic (and more affecting). Carey is a very

Squandered Potential
Few shows have squandered their potential and spit all over goodwill like Heroes, which could have been Unbreakable but instead became Mutant X. This is just another nail in their coffin of failure. I'm glad to hear that it seems Heroes is winding down, at least. It became unwatchable for me a

Danny Gans
RIP, huh? My aunt will be devastated. That's a shame — it's not like I was a fan, but 52 years is too young.

Butt of Sack?
Seriously, Middle English — what were you thinking?

Meth Head
Is it just me, or is Spooge played by the same guy who played a meth head in the first episode of the Shield? Come on, we all know the guy — he sold his daughter for drug money, and killed his wife.

Thoughts
I must be the only Heavy Metal fan left, I suppose. I love that mag, even if it sometimes gets trashy and stupid — the good stories are worth the read.

If I were going to put up something from Moore, it'd either be Top 10 (which I felt was awesome the entire time he was writing it — not so much afterward) or Tom Strong.
