Reviews
The best (and only) review my friend's band ever received was a deservedly insulting rave about their band. I say "rave" because that's exactly what it was — the critic loved the band and the show, but pointed out every possible flaw in a truly flawed schlub of a set, essentially stating that he loved them

I'm holding out for…
The original Frank Darabont script for this shirt was much cooler and more socially relevant.

I still love this feature
I got 31 seconds into that Earth Mama song before I had to shut it the hell down. That was awful.

Love Urban Dead
I've been playing Urban Dead for a little over a year now, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it show up here. The game is great, and it doesn't eat up a bunch of time (thanks to the limited action points). Just a word of advice — go read some newbie guides on the Wiki before you start playing. A

Hurdy Gurdy Man
That song is seriously helped by the backing band, being 3/4 of what would become Led Zeppelin. I liked that song before Zodiac, but now I love it; the association was the cherry on top.

I'm glad I wasn't alone in being not-at-all-annoyed by this commercial.

Sunglasses at Night?
Corey Hart stays, huh? That's my boy!

Nerdcore
It's sort of a convenient handle, but this sounds like a Nerdcore track — like MC Lars channeling Busdriver or something. I could picture this guy hooking up with MC Frontalot or Optimus Rhyme to cut a track.

Wow. I feel like I'm looking at posts by someone who actually hangs out at the Championship Vinyl shop from High Fidelity. You're like this amazingly pompous, self-absorbed music fetishist who is somehow too good for the Onion AV Club, oft-maligned for their obscure indie hipster taste in music.

I thought Busey was about to throw down some Jailhouse Rock on Seacrest.

Excellent Work
You definitely did justice to this film, and I dig the new feature. I loved Donnie Darko the first time I saw it — it's the first film I ever rented from Netflix, and the first film whose commentary I sat through, watching it a second time straight through after I'd seen it the first time.

Hip Hop Show History
I've been to a number of hip hop shows, and honestly, I'm disappointed by most of the major artist shows I attend. It seems like the bigger the act is, the less impressed I am overall.

Late Dispute
Having just read the novella, I wanted to comment regarding Neville's wife's death. The scene doesn't play out in the story, but he confesses what ultimately happened to her when he's talking to Ruth. He references how she came back (which appears earlier in the story), then explains that he tried to take

"And she loved me more than I could imagine
So I waited 'til she slept, and I stepped into traffic."

If you're taking requests…
I just wanted to throw out a few.

We missed you.

Blind Melon
Not even one song by Blind Melon?

I was unaware…
…that Wesley Willis could rap.
