I would be surprised if one of Eli or Mike doesn't find themselves in the top four, not because they belong there, but because one of the favorites blows it: most likely Michael or Jennifer.

Reruns of Cheers and Seinfeld would crush Leno.

No chance. Robin has cooked essentially one thing successfully twice…and the second time she had significant help in its development. She has been in the winners group once, and that wasn't really on her own merit. She cooked one dish, and it was the judges' fourth favorite from her team.

The blue team's stupidity ruined the episode…
This could have been an excellent competition between two very evenly matched teams, unlike two seasons ago, but I just can't imagine what they were thinking. Why would you have your three chefs cooking one at a time, making each course as difficult as possible to get out?

How can something be "bar none" "one of your favorite movies?"

The show has always taken from Seinfeld…
The hat thing takes more from the episode where George and Mike Moffat argue over a parking space, where George buys a hat, flirts with a woman, and eventually reveals his baldness. I think George pretty much said that was the reason he didn't wear hats.

If you play this episode backwards…
…you hear Joan singing "Pete is Dead."

"Dexter Kills the Dominatrix From House"
Does Rita wonder where Dexter wears his murdering uniform when she does the wash? I mean, she's only seen him in it a few times, but it must get washed like it is in the regular rotation.

"The Pattern"
I do like that some of the episodes actually do result in the thing they are investigating not really being part of the pattern, it seems more realistic in some ways. Not every crazy magic science man can be in on the whole thing, right? It is kind of like the episodes people clamor for in other

Carla was on the losing team, because Stefan's desserts got his team the win. I believe the Indian chick went home because she was completely incompetent as a front of house manager.

Chopping Block failed because White had no charisma, and some lady played the race card for no reason.

Well, Khandi Alexander did leave the show because of Lauren Graham, so there was some dischord.

Do people not know that Graham was on the show because NBC didn't think the women on the show had big enough yabbos?

Missed jokes opportunity…
I was really hoping for a newswire item about Lauren Graham replacing Maura Tierney on whatever NBC show, so we could all make cracks about it being the second time NBC tried to replace Maura with Lauren because there was something wrong with her boobs.

I loved that part. It was so great in it's sheer pointlessness and lack of believability.

Also, was Dave's reward as good as the Season 2 "controversial" reward when Virginia got a lesson in running a brigade from Ramsay?

Did they have their episode order cut?
Where's the design team and the just in time deliveries? No flight to Whistler? No "fake out" where Gordon pretends to be ready to announce the winner right after service? I feel like I just watched a movie of a book I'd read before. Everything I expect to be there is missing.

Leon eats everywhere.
