I don't get Rashida Jones…
…is she somehow a comedic actor? Obviously she has some positive physical qualities, but why has she had a major role on two comedy series when she never does anything that could be construed as funny?

Excellent tragic car accident joke.

A real man would never let his cereal sit in milk for thirty seconds.

Request for callback to annoying character in previous season denied!
Why didn't House just call his private detective when he needed that plate run!

Luckily, no one has ever used the title to my new song, "One."

It's Clubber Lang, idiot.

Walt?
Where's NewsRadio's "hunky" addition?

Lane isn't suited to run the company that way. He's a numbers man, there to slash payroll, cut overhead, and streamline the office. Once that is done, he's gone.

I agree, I think we should refer to shows gradually declining in quality as "getting their head stuck in a bascule bridge."

Cartoons
I think they should have had Lois hit Guy in the head with a frying pan.

Don didn't like the champagne because he had no reason to celebrate, he was actively angry that he wasn't being given free reign.

I liked the comparison between Larry and a mental patient in which both make vague references and get visibly angry when the people they are talking to don't understand.

I remember no such caveats. Marty felt that one needed no permission to take liquids, so by giving Larry the green light, one can infer that he meant LD could go to town on his food.

Cheryl is lookin' fine…
Also, it bothered me that Larry WAS given fridge privileges by Marty, and therefore did not need to worry about social convention.

It's a pilot.
Far too early to judge, I think.

It's pretty hard to cook a steak for that many people, since it is the only food that doesn't have an accepted doneness. If you make a bunch of medium steaks, you'll have a lot of unhappy diners.

Tom's comment last week…
…still seemed to hold some truth in this week's challenge.

Yeah, kinda sucks for Hector that he wasn't able to be in this episode, it probably would have been in his wheelhouse.

I'd prefer…
…Missy Peregrym.
