The Nick Cave-penned Gladiator 2, as it would have actually been something to see, rather than just another unsuccessful attempt at fulfilling the wishes of clingy dorks who can't let go of made-up people.

Because it is important for the rest of us to know they are against these things. What the hell else are they going to do show their concern for the welfare of children, drive at the speed limit and without texting at the same time? THEY STILL HAVE TO LIVE, DAMMIT.

So I don't have anything to say about this, but Emergency & I, huh? That's a good album. Real good, in fact.

We've already been reminded of Nickelback, there was no need to also remind us of Smash Mouth.

I've never checked out this band, as there was some weird thing in my head about instrumental bands not counting or something, but I think I may have to check them out now.

I know that I don't like Nickelback, but I don't think I could ever differentiate any of their songs from each other - they're not even really a band to me, they're just some stand-in for a lot of the shitty, generic imitation-rock that fills up rock radio.

I agree, it's quite different to any of the podcast appearances I've heard from him so far, including the Sound Opinions one, and it was a good interview in general.

Thinking about how hard Australia have had it trying to replace Warne does not leave me optimistic about NZ trying to replace Vettori.

For whatever reason, a lot of people insist on taking these lists as challenges to either be overcome or defied, rather than as guides to stuff that might be worth giving your time to (I mean, look at how many comments on a  "Best _____ of the year" list are just complaining about how the list is wrong and the people…

Very little SPORT, just a few games from the Gold Coast 7's (a Rugby 7's tournament) I came across while looking for something else. New Zealand beat Australia in the final after initially being down by 12 points, a hopefully fitting prelude to the dead rubber match between the All Blacks and the Wallabies this coming…
