Well, I certainly avoid the term, and I only hear it used very rarely. A while back there was a meme going around where if you Googled "define an English person", the first line of the search results was that word. That was a pretty good joke if you worked around British people.

Fair enough. Is it worse that calling somebody a dick or a cockhead or similar? It isn't to me, so I never got it.
