I was just happy to see it at all. The fact that it was attached to a strong film like this one? Bonus.

That's a great observation. QUANTUM was one of the coolest parts of QoS, and I really hope they follow up with it.

Like in CR when he's joking with the Swiss guy about chocolates or whatever, and he actually looks into the camera for a split second. Total Jim Halpert moment.

I would've liked to see some kind of tie-in between him and QUANTUM from the last movie. I really enjoyed the 'setting up a new evil organization' aspect of the last movie, sort of the new variation of SPECTRE. But it was nowhere to be found here. This film almost felt like a reboot. I really enjoyed it a lot, but a…

But he wanted to humiliate her as well, not just kill her.

I think you might be assuming too much about Moneypenny's role going forward. If we only see her taking notes and making coffee in future movies, sure, that will kinda suck. But I'm not sure that's how it will go.

That was trademark Deakins. Reminded me of the burning oil field scenes in Jarhead. Almost painterly.

@Santoshjs:disqus Bardem was totally unhinged. The part where he takes out his jaw was amazing, and maybe an odd little nod to Blofeld and his big wonky eye. Anyway, spectacular villainy. I'm sad they didn't keep him around, although his death scene was fantastic. I would've liked to have seen him tied into QUANTUM in…

Loved this film, and I think one of my favorite parts of it was seeing the MGM lion roaring loud and proud at the beginning. Welcome back.

I'm interested to hear Rodney Mullen's story. The guy is clearly a creative genius who invented what is now called street skating by way of freestyle, but I hadn't heard much about all his anxieties before. If you haven't YouTubed some of his trick compilation videos before, do it. They're astounding. Decades ahead of…
