Gurren Lagann really picks up a few episodes into the season, it's worth sticking with it, if only so that you will never forget what the word "Anniki" (sp?) means in Japanese.

I love love love Genshiken. Probably one of my favourite series. The manga is great too, and the manga and anime are different enough that it's not boring to look at one if you've already looked at the other.

Doesn't anyone anticipate that watching Watchmen will be MORE painful than watching The Love Guru? Having seen neither, it looks like a toss-up which is crappier-looking.

Scott Pilgrim VS. The Universe
After reading that beautiful Heavenly Creatures write-up, I guess I'm a bit disappointed to read such a cursory review of vs. the Universe. That said, here are some of my comments for those who wanted a better article. Be warned, SPOILERS LURK HERE!!!
