So the zombie things aren't white walkers. They're wights. Only the blue-looking guys are white walkers.

Yeah, that seems in retrospect like a pretty clear cost-cutting maneuver. Instead of having 2 large-scale battles back to back, you'll have Ramsey running up on fools in the night instead.
Are the white walkers a kind of living dead? We have that one scene from the show where they transform one of Craster's kids into a White Walker. Part of me wants to count that.
I think you might be right.
"Sorry bro. As much as I love watching Myrcalla make out with dudes in the garden, I've decided to take my talents to Kings Landing."
I do want to see the Frankenmountain. It'll be like the 7th type of zombie GoT has had on the show.
Do we know you need Dragons for Valyrian steel? I though that had more to do with the volcano and mining in Valyria than the dragons.
Wanna get real depressed about this? Oberyn died for this storyline.
Right? Let's get two fan-favorite characters and pit them against a bunch of badass chicks, and have the end result be absolutely nothing.
While that would be cool, and maybe even something that the Dornish can support considering they seem to have much more modern gender politics, I haven't seen anything out of anyone in Dorne to suggest they can play politics like that. The only thing we know about the Prince of Dorne is that he doesn't want to go to…
So does anyone care about Dorne anymore? I'm a little bummed that what could have been a cool story line has fizzled out so badly.
So the whole Dorne thing is bullshit now, right? Jamie's just gonna chill in Dorne for the rest of the season? Where does that story have left to go that's interesting?
It's grown pretty rapidly in the 3 or so episodes he's had it. And I doubt an army of Maesters are coming to his aid. My guess is that he thinks he's on borrowed time and is just making impulsive decisions.
Though, if the Hardhome battle illustrated anything, she may be right in the wrong way. When the White Walkers come, all anyone will care about is who has a giant army and dragons. That's a hell of a bargaining chip- "If you want my help, I get the pointy throne. No takies-backies."
Jorah's long game? There is no long game. He's got Westeros' verison of supercancer. He just wants to see Dany one last time.
Man, if winter zombies can shoot arrows too, everybody is screwed.
Good call about the dagger. Would be ironic for that to be put to good use.
Needle is just a plain-ass sword that Jon bought Arya. No Valaryan steel there, sadly.
I picked up the EP a while back and was blown away. Hell of a voice.
Spartacus had it's fair share of brutal violence, but it was always more action-movie stylized and in the context of other slightly-less-brutal violence. Since GoT went from 0 to 100, it was much more gut-wrenching than Spartacus was.
