The shame of her dying is that there is no resolution to her plan against the Faith. She makes a big show of being on the Tyrell's side, yet doesn't do a damn thing either to kill the Faith or advance the Tyrells.

It was a vague sense of "We're about to get fucked." While I agree it's a waste of her arc, it at least gives her a parting gift of "seeing it coming."
Nah. She wanted to light it off when everyone but her was there. While I'm sure she anticipated Lancel dying, the fact that it was in the wildfire storage instead of the Sept was due to Lancel's (sadly ineffective) detective work.
I am bummed about that. How do you call Jon the White Wolf and not have a Ghost appearance? If you're going to spend the budget to have each Dragon fly around the Dany fleet, you can have Ghost in the background for a half a second.
It's what the North does, right? Is there a post-Ned male Stark? KING OF THE NORTH.
I apologize for liking this show.
So my fun is trying to figure out how you make the Cersei v Dany
fight competitive. Right now, It's everyone against Cersei, but having
them ride up and stomp the Red Keep seems anti-climatic.
I would guess that the guy informing him of what's going on probably told him who was there and who was not. Or at least he would ask if his mother was there. But it's Tommen, so who knows.
I don't think Arya is thinking about anything but maximizing pain against those on her hit list. I doubt she's thinking about the political ramifications of her actions (or making political actions).
Part of this relies on Jamie being the one, as the head of the Lannister army, to co-ordinate the war effort. I think he'd be more able to make the alliances work (and no one has to know how you blew off Lord Frey because he's dead now.)
Tyrells were Renly's army, so they at least took some losses. And while Dorne stayed out, we don't know how strong they are because literally no one has discussed their military strength.
If his only goal was the North, I'd agree. But he needs to be a player in the Great Game, and camping in the North where they're committed to not contest the Iron Throne puts you on the sidelines. Cersei will be desperate, and he'll take advantage of that with an ulterior motive. Straight out of the Littlefinger…
He has had a way of convincing Cersei otherwise. Remember, she called him down to talk about Sansa at Winterfell, and he convinced her that the Boltons had betrayed her and he was going to march up with the Vale and defeat the Boltons to be the Warden of the North. Mission accomplished (in a perverse way).
Nah, it's all good. This is not a show for happy endings.
I was wondering if I could be more depressed. You have answered my question.
Sith rules? There can only be one master and one apprentice?
He does have a soft spot for the Stark girls.
It does beg the question- why bother to bring the Hound back if not for the Cleganebowl? Why bother bringing either of them back, for that matter?
For all of those who are depressed, remember, it could get much worse.
The things you do for love…
