Drunken Argument

I'm in the same boat, but mostly because I feel like the first episode spoiled the entire season. It was too much like a movie trailer for a comedy that shows all the good jokes. The rest of the movie seems stale and the good jokes don't hit as hard.

This comment thread has been up for more that 15 minutes. Where are all of the Bri-lovers salivating that their princess is back?

Todd, I think I agree with you on the direction that Don is going, but I can't say he's a man who's lost his influence or touch. In this episode alone, he destroys Ted in just about every way he can, in every arena that's relevant. The St. Joseph's scene was a brilliant showing of what happens when a man devotes all

But we did get a "Sit down Trudy," which was almost as good when you added the schadenfreude.

"Also I wouldn't put anything past the company that would eventually build the Pontiac Aztek"

This episode was great, but find the Pete Holmes one online. It brought out the best of what both comedians do. The Jonah Ray one was also pretty stellar.

My favorite game during the walking ceremony: noticing the countries that the announcers didn't say anything about. No absurd fact, no time-killing description of what they were wearing, just dead air for 5-10 seconds. After about the 3rd time it happened, my friends and I started yelling "[COUNTRY NAME], PRESENTED

I've called the final two for Clay and Aubrey for a while now, and I see no reason to back down. Though I am surprised that you think that Arsenio would be a better that Clay as far as popularity/ratings go.

So this is my first time watching The Voice, so I'm wondering how this show works when we get to the Top 8. Does it continue to be team-based until the final four? Or does it open up American Idol style? Because I think Team Celo's top 3 is better than just about everyone right now, and I would hate to see them kill

I still think his rendition of "House of the Rising Sun" is one of the best performances I've ever seen. Sad he could never live up to his original brilliance.

The terrifying odds are that either Dayana or Teresa or both will make into the final four. If there was betting on this show, the odds would have been astronomical.

He's been trying to rationalize why she's always there- nearly every time he asks a variation on "why are you here? Is every one else jealous of you?" And her constant inoffensiveness makes her harder to articulate a reason to fire her.

I agree- if that is his rule, he does a terrible job following it. But as I thought about it, it still might be a good rule of thumb. It's very rare in this shows that the failure can be pinpointed to something specific, and that one person bears (nearly) all the responsibility for that thing. When that happens, that

And the Andretti corollary to the Carolla rule- never fail to enthusiastically endorse a product that fits squarely within your brand.

Exactly. Best to not even touch that tempest in a teacup.

As far as the slogan goes, I think Penn nailed it on the head even more than he thought he did.

That's a pretty interesting point. I hadn't thought about how the charity aspect plays into it. When there is no job at stake, it becomes less about showing admirable traits that would make Trump pick you in the end, and more about accruing money for the charity. And the only way to do that on this show is to win the

Of course I typed so long that I forgot the original reason for the post: What are the unspoken rules of Celebrity Apprentice?

So there was something interesting about this episode that I haven't really seen on the show before- an exposing of what the players think the "rules" of the game are without it being wrapped in business/blame game terms. There were two points where it really stood out.
