Joffrey's attempts to be badass are always hilarious. I don't think any moment of hilarity could match him promising to give Stannis, "a red smile," while slightly unsheathing his sword last week. But naming his sword Hear Eater is close.

I was cheering because him showing up means that Tyrion and Podrick will live, and I need them to live.

You'd think so, but with him dead there would probably be some argument about who's in command. The Mountain was in command of the garrison at Harrenhall before Tywin arrived, but he brought along a lot of his top-level advisors who would probably try to claim leadership. All in all that kind of confusion would be…

The "cheating" was exploiting the fact that the Mountain's horse was in heat during the Hand's Tournament. However, it was still a good tilt to knock The Mountain off is horse, and we know that he's beaten Jaime Lannister in a joust before straight up. He might be one of the few examples of the show telling us rather…

I'm getting the sense that Jon Snow is gonna have to kill Halfhand next week. It's the only way he can get the wildlings to really trust him as one of them, and Qhorin understands that. He knows he's dying at some point, but he wants to make sure he does so for a purpose. That's why he's trying so hard to convince the…

I can't wait for Arya to go on a quest to retrieve Needle. That's gonna be a fun story arc.

I was shocked when they said that Joffrey was 17. I had assumed he was 14 or maybe 15 at the oldest considering his size and overall physical maturity. There's no way he could stand up in a fight with Stannis at his size and considering what a grizzled old soldier Stannis is.

Another factor in this would be that having Tywin alive and well in Harrenhall was keeping Arya safe. As soon as he dies her protection is gone. If he's leaving anyway then there's no more benefit to not killing him, and there's a lot of good done by having him killed.

Not sure I believe that Bronn could beat Jaime. Bronn won Tyrion's trial by combat by fighting without honor and using the terrain to his advantage. That put him above a knight locked into traditional combat ideas. Jaime has a certain idea of honor in combat, as evidenced by asking for a "fair" fight, but that would…

I definitely think that Barristan Selmy would be on Jaime's list. Even though he's older he's still considered one of the best swordsmen around, and we know Jaime has some crazy respect for the guy.
