I definitely think that Barristan Selmy would be on Jaime's list. Even though he's older he's still considered one of the best swordsmen around, and we know Jaime has some crazy respect for the guy.

Walder Frey doesn't have a lot of men, but he offers an important strategic position which he could use to seriously mess up Robb's. They emphasized pretty heavily last season that there's not a better way across that river than the Twins.

It might also be a reflection of the characters upon whom we're focusing. In TLA we were regularly interacting with some of the most powerful and spiritually advanced benders on the planet who were going up against huge armies of opponents on a regular basis. Because of that they harnessed the elements in enormous

I also figured he was checking for poison, but after he sent the food away without eating any of it he might have been checking specifically to see if Arya were the one trying to kill him.

Theon's occupation of Winterfell is a lot like the Middle East invasion: (1) it's led by a funny looking guy who's fairly incompetent and who has a position of authority only because his father was important, while he was talked into it by far more competent and ruthless advisors; (2) it quickly lost track of one of

Hodor was great in this episode.

I so badly want Robb to not get together with the sexy nurse because I like him, I think he's one of the few honorable, reasonable adults left, and there's no way him spurning Walder Frey's daughter turns out well for him. He's got too strong an army and head for tactics for the Freys to win out on the field, but as

Not even a saggy pair of man-tits as we got last week.

I've gotten to the point where I actually find Jaime Lannister to be the most honorable character in the show. He acknowledges that there are too many oaths he's sworn to be true to them all, so he follows his own conscience and acts to protect himself and those he cares about most. He might be an amoral dick, but you

I've always figured it was the return of the dragons or the re-awakening of the White Walkers that has led to the return of magic into the wide world. Something along the lines that they awaken it in those who would have the knowledge or potential to wield it.

I couldn't believe that she had been killed. It might be that she's in the House of the Undying because they needed someone who knew a little bit about caring for the dragons. One way or another, I'm certain she survived to be a tie to Danaerys' old life.

Tywin Lannister is HARD TO KILL.

Based on the preview for next week it might be that she calls in her last kill on Tywin next week, although I have to say I'm not sure it's gonna be a success.

I loved the continued fleshing out of Cersei. The implication that she loves Joffrey, but doesn't think he's a good person or someone she would like if he weren't her son, is a fantastic point about where she stands in these kinds of political ventures as the mother of the king.

I wasn't 100% sure until it got to the part where Jaime mentioned he had a plan to escape. Then I knew that guy was dying.

I'll admit that I'm not a medical professional, but a quick check on the CDC website confirms that there is no approved test for HPV in men.

If you kept it up for a few hours it would probably be a great exercise.

If I hate this show but love your mom where does that put me?
