last call
no.

ups and downs
this is only the second permanent record i've owned (after nowhere, an all-time favorite); i bought it after a girl sent me four songs from it that i really liked (on warmer music, all my kin, the town crusher, do go on). i sat down to play the whole thing and… i just didn't get anything out of the rest

Subede[something cut off]: i think you're missing mennen's point. everyone would think doakes was the BHB, and then (unbeknownst to everyone) lila kills him and dexter kills her. it fits nicely.

and if a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its ass a-hoppin'!

comics panel
so, is the comics panel another casualty of the holiday crunch? please don't tell me it's being discontinued.

wait - a richter directed this?
from the sound of it, it must have been chareth, the flirt.

bless you, karl.

can i apply for that job?

sadness
i know i'm wretchedly underqualified, but for a split second there i entertained the thought of moving to chicago just to apply for this job.

or the clash.

why, i love him. thanks for asking.

sadler
why does darabont always cast william "bill" sadler in his king adaptations? they must be bffs.

sons and daughters
probably not a popular choice, and not even available on dvd, but still not hard to obtain. my girlfriend and i were watching a clip montage fred goss posted on youtube this morning, which put it into my head; it has a lot of laugh out loud moments, but a lot of heart, too. blogging it might even

the first hour or so was pretty slow, but the last half hour made up for it. it still wasn't as good as shaun, though. simon pegg should never have to play the straight man.

the juice
but he needs the juice; how else can he be expected to carry a washer/dryer set out of a burning house?

can't wait
to get my copy of the new scott pilgrim. i got into them shortly before the infinite sadness come out, and this wait has been painfully long.

adjectives modify nouns, like "we". adverbs modify most other things, like "to act". the "ly" doesn't make a difference in this case; it can be used as either, depending on the context.

i'm not reading all these
but chud reported that guy pearce was set to play the man in the road a few days ago. i was psyched for viggo, but guy is a good consolation prize.

NOT FRAMING
dexter wasn't trying to frame that copycat for his (dexter's) murders, he was just planting evidence so he would go to jail for the murder he (the copycat) almost committed, so miami wouldn't be flooded with feds. that was my understanding, anyway.
