Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

All of the above, except that I am not seeing the movie.

I watched a Ren and Stimpy marathon on the morning after my 17th birthday. It was the first time I have ever woken up with a hangover.

Microsoft bought up Rare around the same time as I was in the industry, so depending on how you look at it, that made them pretty safe, or took them out of existence in everything but name.

Alex has sex with two girls on it to the accompaniment of the William Tell Theme. How can you not remember that?

One of the many reasons his performance was so great is that it was totally un-Oscar-baity. There was no sense in which he was glancing at the audience, going "Isn't this great? Aren't I amazing? Do you think I'll get an Oscar for this? I probably should!" He was just a great actor doing his craft.

I got 22 problems but cans ain't one of 'em.

It's important to make a distinction between studios (in this case Lionhead) and publishers (in this case Microsoft). In my experience, studios are more than eager to innovate. They're the ones who go to E3 and hear "Why don't you do something different for once?" again and again and again.

Interesting username/comment synergy here.

If you think this is bad, you should see how Microsoft treats smaller and less high profile game developers.

Me neither. I don't know how things are now but when I was in the industry, everything was so credit driven ('Must have credits in at least one game' was common in job advertisements) and yet you could work in the industry and not end up with a single credit because of cancellations and delays.

It'll be just like the old days, when everybody was Kung Foo Fighting.

Hey, I liked that version of Blackbird!

Really, you could pick several winners in the Best Animated Feature section every year since the category was introduced. The contenders are usually that good.

One year on, and I'm still angry that Big Hero 6 beat out Song of the Sea for the Best Animated Feature Oscar.

There's also the fact that in the cartoon show, Veronica had a Southern accent. Just in case you couldn't picture the Lodges owning a ton of slaves back in the day.

It's like you want to spend your Life with Archie or something.

You may call him 'Mad Men's Vincent Kartheiser', but to me, he'll always be 'Angel's bratty and inexplicably teenage son'.

Plus, everyone looks great in eyeliner.
