Exactly.  I guarantee you the producers didn't have to search too hard to find that boogie board in Myrtle Beach. There are approximately 25 beach shops per mile of Hwy 17, and every one of them carries that exact boogie board or a something remarkably close to it.
We should probably start a thread for coolest thing

Last night they showed a replay of the girl who grabbed Steven Tyler's butt at the Savannah auditions.  She looked just like post-facelift Ozzy.  That is all.

Last night I took one for the team and googled Patty the Pittsburgh Planker immediately after her segment.  She does have a Facebook page, which appeared to be created the day before the audition, with the most recent activity being the day of the audition.  She went from something like 170 to 400 likes during that

Me too!  His post-audition reception looked like a promo picture staged for his community college's website.

Let's all take a second to savor that "…a grandma his age line" that refers to Steven Tyler.

I think it was the cargo shorts, backwards neon Yankees hat, and hip hop hand gestures that did it.  And then he wanted to sing the anthem at a NASCAR race for his mom.  And then he transformed into Stefon.  It was like watching a caterpillar morph into a very strange butterfly in one minute of TV time.  Oh, and then

Was anybody else at least a little surprised when Joshua Chavis turned into Stefon?

You're dead-on.  And that pretty succinctly covers the real tragedy of this story.

Yeah guys, we're back to pre-2008 levels of pissing during Patterson songs.

Shonna was a solid bass player and a nice person, and at shows, her songs always provided a really great time to piss or get in the beer line.

This has probably been said before, but Josh looks like the long-lost fifth member of Color Me Badd.

I'm not sure how this new system works, but I clicked the like button twice.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that one. I also really liked Marcus's Dead Elvis.

Nice
This is a solid intro, and nice job on the disc suggestions - it's difficult to comb through all of the repetitive repackagings that RCA has put out over the past decade or so. The three 90s box sets are pretty indispensable and the three disc That's The Way It Is is, I think, what surprises non-Elvis fans the

This is a phenomenal comment thread.

I see now that the word choice on this post was ambiguous. Excuse me while I tweak this tracking knob.

No shit
Comedy Central runs that show more often than they ran Kids in the Hall reruns in the early 90s. Set your DVR to record all of them and I swear to god you get 5 episodes a day.

Thank you. My boombox in 1984 would argue that Swingin' is in fact not a hit from this millenium.

Whoo boy, I didn't even realize that I posted a link to the German dub.

James and that crazy head of his
I'll tell you where James got those moves with the mic stand, plus most of his outfit- the kid just watched Wayne's World: http://www.youtube.com/watc….
