Couldn't agree more.  I am obsessed with this show…I have rewatched all the episodes several times and the overall aesthetic just kills me.  So fucking beautiful.

I've been watching it, usually 2 episodes at a time.  I'm on episode 10 now; I will probably finish it up over the next few days due to the blizzard. 
I really like this show; the actors are fantastic and like you said, it reminds me of Damages, which I also really liked.

I loved this episode so much.  I was kind of surprised at how much it affected me; I liked the show and always enjoyed watching it, but this episode hit me emotionally and now I am totally in love with this show.

Didn't Damon kill Jeremy in front of Elena for absolutely no reason?  I don't know how Elena can suddenly be okay with that.  If they are going to have a Damon/Elena relationship, they really should have taken their time with it…I know the whole "sire" thing amplifies feelings, etc but it feels very rushed to me.

Yeah, she's pretty awesome.  I never cared about Emily and Jack, but when she started crying outside the bar, I felt terrible for her.  Jack was the one thing she wanted, and after everything she's gone through, she can't be with him…I got a little choked up myself.
