Actually, now that I think about it, I killed him, in an attempt to
create a paradox and destroy the universe. In retrospect, without the use of a time-machine, it wasn't very paradoxical.

I can create a universe in my computer, albeit a pretty small one.

What? They're very dangerous! My grandfather was killed by a paradox!

The essence of the conservative mindset is, "I believe X, so I expect everyone else to believe X as well."

If you say god is incapable of wanting something, you're limiting God…

Hm… Let's say it is conscious in a manner roughly analogous to our own, that it is not 'everything', merely the source of everything we know, that it doesn't need, but can want, and has a preference for things that are interesting. It creates a universe because it can, because why not?

The entity responsible for the creation of our physical universe.

Littlefinger will use the same dimensional wormhole shortcut he used to travel between the Vale and the Wall last time.

Anyone who's read the books knows Septon Ray is always going on about ulcerative colitis.

Poking fun at it was the most they could do. The least they could do was ignore it, which is what normally happens with comments on the internet.

"I like it better when they make fun of people who aren't me."
Homer Simpson

"See, there's only a couple of dozen kids on that schoolbus. Let them drown. It's not worth getting out of bed for less than a hundred thousand lives."

I don't think obesity is much of a problem for a healthcare system in the long-term. People who eat right live longer, healthier lives; then they get old and start costing the system money anyway. People who drop dead of a heart attack at the age of sixty are way cheaper.

I'm not convinced Ramsay would survive five minutes in a room with her.

The Hound came back to life and all his new friends got murdered. Arya got brutally stabbed. Margaery revealed her true allegiance. Yara revealed her plan to team up with Dany. Sansa swallowed her pride and asked Littlefinger for help (I presume).
Not the most action-packed week, but 'nothing happened' seems a bit

Yara, though portrayed sympathetically, is almost certainly a terrible human being. She leads a crew of Ironborn. Do you think they spend their time trading peacefully?

Maybe the fan theories are mostly correct about GRRM's future plans?

Well, yes: his technological knowledge would completely shift the balance of military power in her favor.

If Sandor survived what Brienne did to him, Arya can shake off a couple of little stab wounds.

(The joke being that he used to do this all the time, when he was starring in Lovejoy…)
