I do love the usage of trifling in that song though.

I always thought that Destiny's Child "Bills" was far, far meaner. Whereas you can take "No scrubs" to be directed toward assholes, "Bills" is pretty clear that unless you pay for all of her shit, you're nothing more than a "trifling, good-for-nothing type of brother." Which, when you're like 10, is pretty

Well. I like all of those albums. So there.

Yeah. I'm pretty cold on Kanye's first album, but this is the one I always point to in the College trilogy whenever someone bad mouths Yeezy (all hail based Yeezus). It's pretty much a perfect album top to bottom.

Leave it to the wonderful AV Club comment section to direct me to some great music. Checked out Kaputt on Spotify—goddamn those saxophones make me weak at the knees.

Which is why I prefer IV to any of the Saints Row games. IV, I really felt like I was living that world; whereas with Saints Row (and especially IV) it all feels fake.

I'm glad that we're slowly giving GTAIV the credit it deserves, because it's a far, far better game than people gave it credit. And while there are better open-world games (including the superior Red Dead Redemption that rose from GTAIV's ashes) there's just something about it's unending bleakness and anger that stuck

I'm not the only one. I might pick it back up, but I dropped Cloud Atlas (the book) because of the dialect. I thought the movie was a much better experience.

I don't think you do. Went into that theater with only the most basic knowledge of Speed Racer. Came out thinking it was one of the best movies I had seen that year. Maybe it isn't the masterpiece some say it is (but it totally is), but it never deserved the shitstorm it reaped by critics. No way this was worst of

nah. He's clearly nodding off right before the laser starts, and passes out before he gets hit with it.

Having just watched the episode…I don't know about that. I think she certainly began doing her duties as a psychiatrist; she did try and save him. And then, it seems like she hesitates, and then shoves her arm much farther than she needed to. In that moment, she decides to crush the "wounded bird" rather than save it.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure I heard months before this that they intended for S4 to be the show's last.

Yeah. Pretty much.

See, the problem with this argument is: you're already fighting a losing battle by agreeing that it's pretty fucking shitty. Saying, "but that's the point!!!" doesn't really make it any better.

late. But yes. YES!

"Every supposedly heroic sacrifice made during the book’s many battles feels meaningless because it’s hard to connect with such thin characters."
Gotta say, this was "Ready Player One" for me—and surprise, surprise, it's a problem with his recent book too—makes a lot of lipservice to more complex ideas concerning race,

Cuz I'm a dope, I watched the first leaked episode of the second season.

THE MUSCLES FROM BRUSSLES WILL NEVER DIE!!!

Yep. So many times I'm giggling like crazy. It's so clear that The Wachowski's are having so much fun with this.

agreed. FUCK YOU, BRO!!
