not a big 'tim and eric' fan, but every couple of episodes, they will just kill me. ed begley jr doing the infomertial for the jitterbug-like phone for old people was brilliant. and whenever tim and eric would dress up as those two fake mtv hosts, that shit killed me.

'return of stinkmeaner' was great fun as a genre piece, not quite the social commentary highs of 'return of the king.' the only episode that comes close in season 2 for me was 'story of gangstalicious part 2.'

i'll take early red hot chili peppers over pretentious 'californication' and everything after.

honestly, aaron is one of the best contestants this show has ever had. oh, i don't think he's a great singer and i don't really like the music he's been making. but, more than any other person this season, he spent every week showing us exactly what kind of album he would make : disney radio songs for 11 year old

i know this is pathetic, but honestly, more than any other great show cancelled early in the last ten years, i miss 'pushing daisies.'

final five
1 - casey
2 - michael
3 - lee
4 - aaron
5 - crystal wins it.

oh, it deserves an 'A+'. ryan hosted the shit out of it.

hotter than casey? clearly not.

don't like crystal, never have. good singer, fake personality, bad attitude. never had an honest moment on a show she clearly despises. like siobhan, she got super defensive the first time the judges had anything but slavish adoration for her. oh, she'll win, and that's fine and all, she's a great singer, but all

i really wanted lacey this season to cover 'jolene.' her voice was perfect for that song.

siobhan should go home soon. the fact that 'to scream/not to scream' is a consideration she makes on a week by week basis, regardless of song choice, really bugs me. i guess when the show's over, she can make that primal scream duets album with yoko ono people have been demanding for years. no offense to yoko ono.

clearly, aaron would be singing 'the end' on doors night. only for 'the killer awoke at dawn' part.

i must admit to enjoying randy gently easing into his directly negative moments : 'i can keep it real with you, right?' 'doooode. dude.' or best of all, when he can't stop chuckling for a few seconds, says the contestant's name, then just launches into 'that was so not good, dog. really.'

dc harcore week. michael lynche's touching minor threat rendition should definitely keep him safe for another week.

yeah, ellen wrote that train/twain joke years ago and was so excited to bust it out tonight, she used it twice. the first time was annoying, the second time was the first time this season i've wanted her dead. it passed, but jesus.

one of the best episodes this season. i really liked superman as shaw, but the plotline took itself too seriously for me. i'm deeply worried about the potential that 'morgan the spy' has to be mis-handled, but tonight was perfect on this. he proved his use, but was still morgan-y. oh, and shaw's coming back. no

fuck yeah. and a tiger!

i can't hear that song without thinking of someone being eliminated on 'american idol.'

i have to agree, this newspost was particularly well written.

yeah, john fucking carpenter. and michael keaton. he's working, but he looks dead in the eyes.
