he was okay in 'lord of war,' which i really liked, but i loved 'weather man' and i just thought it was a great performance. but, so many people don't like it, i just assumed it was because i felt the film hit so close to home for me, that i couldn't judge it objectively.
i was unprepared for how much i would not like emilio's collection. i'm actually a little shocked he wasn't cut first. the outfits were okay, i guess, though i think they're on the racks right now, let alone ready to go on the racks. but those colors! they were so ugly! how could anyone enjoy those colors? …
and then they study the art our civilization found most meaningful : they start with bruckheimer, they ponder bruckheimer with mariah carey and they fucking read 'harry potter' right before they watch 'who wants to be a millionaire?' and there it is. late 20th century art in america.
no no, zombie dennis hopper was perfect, exactly what he looked like.
her amazing fakeness and unoriginality inspired me to offer her a haircut.
i'm sure that's why simon is leaving. idol's gotten too commercial for him and he's starting his own show - to find the REAL undiscovered talent in america.
21st century mullet? found in coffeeshops across america. just like singers just as good as bowersox singing the exact same songs and hating american idol the exact same way. except most of them don't show up on the show each week, busking for the idol contract they claim to be better than. my favorite exchange in…
i've come around on him. i'm not buying his album, but my hatred of him from last year seems misplaced. his performance really made this year's contestants look like milquetoasts.
siobhan is getting votes for being interesting up until a few weeks ago. she's been boring as hell two weeks in a row and i really don't like her 'you can't stop me from being me!' attitude anytime someone tries to criticize her. i think she's gonna get the 'peaked too early'/'now she kind of sucks' cut soon. …
i never thought christian was that much better than anyone else, and i actually think there's been less interpersonal drama than in previous seasons. until mila calls out seth aaron for his garments looking too expensive and intricate for one month's work, it's just not as high tension.
i'm actually enjoying this season. a few of the challenges have been a little disappointing, but it's been so much better than last season. and i like a lot of the contestants' designs, though since i don't know fashion, maybe i'm just not getting why they suck more than fifth season or before.
oh, he's being a dick, but he lacks a passive aggressive streak that can be seen from space. as annoying as he's getting, i can't imagine him ever making me hate him the way i hated kenley.
this show
had a good way of introducing the nickname 'bones' to a character. the 'star trek' reboot did not.
like kevin corrigan
hate sam. he's only there so olivia can have a conversation with herself. show don't tell.
casey
i really like casey, but i'm really sick of them constantly talking about his looks and how much kara loves his golden locks. his audition seemed more desperate than sleazy, and now every time anyone talks about him, it turns into 'good job, but you'll get votes because you're hot.' i'm worried it'll become…
her amazing folky originality trend continues with the one beatles song you'll never hear in a peet's on open mike night! can her fake folky ass just skip directly to the finale and win so i don't have to watch her for the next few weeks? maybe she can duet with taylor swift during 'idol gives back' and they can…
yah, david letterman used to have a chick on with a buzzsaw on a metal breastplate in the background of other stuff. constantly.
oh, he's alive.
he did have my all time favorite community joke :
