I agree. I really didn't expect Walt to kill Mike in this scene—although I definitely thought Walt might kill Mike at some point, if necessary—and I don't think Walt or Mike expected it either. Much more than Mike's death, Walt wanted the satisfaction of some kind of acknowledgement from Mike, and when he didn't get

I keep making the same mistake! And the thing this week about how the Slate reviewer "couldn't figure out" why a different actor was used for a second in that scene you mentioned might have been the last straw for me too.

This was my favorite episode of the season so far. I love the surrealist stuff and I laughed out loud multiple times—especially when the car window broke. Great stuff.

That episode only gets a B+?!?! Come on, it was totally riveting! A thoroughly enjoyable hour of television, once again. "Mad Men" is on fire this season, no reason to nitpick it so much.

Weakest episode of the series for me. Hannah is just too stupid and oblivious for my taste, even if this show is not meant to take place in a plausible reality. Only the last scene saved this episode—oh, and the one where Charlie's friend with the weird face who works at the coffee shop absolutely owns Marnie. I think
