I, too, was worried they'd soften Blaine in order to make him likeable and justify keeping him on as a regular (see: Originals, TVD) but them doubling down and introducing his father is sheer genius.

Brozone's the one that comes after the Fratosphere, right, Bro?

The candle vlogger girl is pretty amusing (She had one of the better character intros in the pilot: Nancy Meyers Movie candles!). I hope her death is as over the top as possible.

It's crazy how good this pilot is. Even great TV shows don't have good pilots most of the time and good pilots aren't usually indications of a good TV show (*cough* Smash on NBC *cough*).

Man that Keystone Xbox Pipeline is the WORST.

She's more like a moving, breathing production prop than a character right now. Her sashays and stares add great ambience to the show. Her line delivery is ok, a bit too hammed up for the camera (in that it subtly apparent that its lady gaga as the countess on screen rather than the character countess). All in all,

Cookie is like chocolate chips while Anika is vanilla.

I actually liked this episode, its what Scream Queens in the pilot wanted to be. The characters all, for the most part, are getting slightly more fleshed out and the scenes that are meant to be funnily offensive are actually funny (I enjoyed the opening Chanel-O-Ween and Hester's cemetary flirting) as opposed to

Didn't really like the case of the week all too much but the rest of the world building and story arc starters more than made up for it. All in all, just happy this show is back. Also, this:

"Push presents? More like Push based on the novel by Sapphire in that these gifts are a series of endless tragedies" - Oh Tamra, never change.

I quite liked the first 2 or 3 seasons of Gossip Girl in part because there was still enough soap & eye candy to wash off all the shitty writing but like all edibles, that candy eventually went bad (TAYLOR MOMSEN PEOPLE).

AV Club needs an A+ rating please.

I really don't care much for the present day scenes since they have almost no relation plotwise or thematically to the main story being told at Quantico. So far, the story hasn't collapsed yet from too many plot holes and if the show can actually pull off a shrewd ending (ala Damages) it'd be great. Unfortunately, I

Lets be honest, who needs charisma on a josh safran show. Look at Chace Crawford, the less that boy acted, the better. I'm just looking forward to the inevitable awkward makeout sesh between analyst character and faux gay (i haven't bothered to learn their names yet).

Someone kill Laura already. Other than that, pretty solid reset button.

Am I the only one who feels like season 2 has dropped alot of the dark comedy that was inherent in season 1 to go for straight out manic comedy more?

Jamie Lee Curtis continues to be magnetic. Nasim Pedrad & Nicey Nash are standouts too. The rest of the sorority sisters are 50 shades of ehhhh. The Zayday/Grace combo works well but alone, their characters, like the rest of their sisters (except Chanel No. 3?) just seem positively banal.

Have you seen the latest spinoff? CSI: cyb0r

There's glimmers of potential in this opening two-parter (jamie lee curtis, the blood oath ritual, text message killer, nicey nash, nasim pedrad) but the season long arc worries me. The whodunnit may be key but the characters are so poorly realised through shoddy writing and underacting. I'm not a fan of Abigail

The B plot of Beth & Jerry in that marriage counselling was hilarious and does shed some new light on their relationship (THEY'RE CO-DEPENDENTTT!!!!). Unlike the Cronenberg episode where Jerry steps up when situations force him too etc etc or the titanic episode where Beth feels bad for ditching Jerry etc etc, this
