I was half expecting to see Nick Offerman as Shawn but i'll take Marc Evan Jackson. I always felt like he deserved a more prominent role in the many Mike Schur productions he's popped up in.

I think its clear to see that out of all the characters in the good place, Tahani ranks as one of the most insecure despite her many accomplishments in life (50 Billion for charity, guys!). It's interesting to see that she was the one who started to insult eleanor. Can't wait to see how her character develops,

I do expect this series to tackle heavier notions about the good place and society in general and the whole idea of the system pairing soulmates seems like a good place for this show to segue into observations about the justness of the system all these characters abide in.

HOW GREAT IS THIS SHOW? After the first act i was ready to write this off as where this show goes, which is to veer back into sitcom trope territory but then Jian Yu's B-story kicked in and the A story did an about turn and just completely subverted whatever expectations I had.
