Pretty sure Marti Noxon isn't involved in any way with the show anymore. Some of her ideas made it to the first half but that New Yorker profile i read of Shapiro made it pretty clear they had a falling out to the point of there being a replacement co-showrunner being hired to take Noxon's place.

Yeah I'm going to miss CBB and Another Period so bad. Those shows are such dense pop culture reference machines that it's so easy to miss stuff.

The wooden ornaments hanging by the cult house had me laughing. Just that single image referencing True Detective i found funny for no other apparent reason. At least Angie Tribeca wasn't playing with a knife and being moodier than usual.

It's an ok show. It's doing a fairly good job of adapting the source material and I'm all for the deviation but i think the show is poorly paced. SHIT IS JUST TOO FUCKING SLOW.

This season has been on fire. This episode is quieter than last but still a fitting way to end what has been an excellent season (and possibly my favourite since the 3rd). I hope we get to see more of Andrea Savage because she's always hilarious but given that she's probably going to be heavily recurring on iZombie…

I feel the issue was the writers never quite grasped what to write for Kid Cudi. Outside of the temptations sketch early on, I felt Kid Cudi was poorly utilized. In comparison, Weird Al just has a much more defined comedic persona on this show which compensates for the general lack of good sketches for the band leader…

Did not think the timekeeper character worked. Joe Jonas was also decidedly below average. The whole sellout schtick was really good though. Got me craving some Wendy's now.
