COMMAND ME LORD!

I'm starting to really hate people saying "rape" all of the time.  It's just starting to sound cunty.

She watches it on our one computer, so… I just have the spank bank available to me.

@avclub-4f8bc5ac1dc2b49434efe9e72f183de8:disqus  Have you seen "After the Wedding?"  I found myself choking up at that movie (even though it had some major flaws) for a similar reason you give (#1) for tearing up at this.

Big fan of this movie.  Granted, i haven't seen it in quite a few years, but I used to watch it all the time, and man, it's up there as one of my favorites by Fincher.

I have been presenting almost these same conclusions to my wife in an attempt to get her to stop wasting an hour and a freaking half of her life on this stupid show per-week.  Unfortunately, she just. can't. stop.  I even pointed out the incestuous nature of the two shows (bachelorette, bachelor) that choose the star

He's got a podcast involving the ingestion of between-meal treats…

Way to go O'Neal, making the AV Club comments section all political for no reason.  I hope you're happy, watching us puppets dance for you!

No, I read it.  The problem with the logic is that it's based in anecdotal evidence.  The problem with comedy and humor in general, is that there is no scientific reasoning behind what's "funny" or "un-funny," and so we are left with the subjective debate regarding why people generally prefer male comedians.  This is

Thanks for the inventory!  I find that "The Luck of the Irish" is mostly used as a dry, ironic term amongst the Irish, and for good reason.  Centuries of institutionalized oppression at the hands of the English has rarely been manifest in policy (Hitler in WWII, Apartheid in South Africa) for so long and with such

Will his nose bleed every time he gets and erection?

This is an incredibly long review.  What gives?

It really is fantastic, and endlessly re-listenable.

I agree with your assessment of Midnight in Paris 100% (just saw it last night.)  The look of the film is what made it halfway decent, although I think his shot choices were more interesting in the beginning, and settled into fairly straight-forward cinematography as the movie progressed.  Still, he does a nice job

Ditto.  And it's fairly inconsistent.  Hopefully it'll get figured out.

Finished book 1 of A Song of Ice and Fire (amazing, on to A Clash of Kings) and watched "Midnight in Paris" (how was that movie nominated for awards?)  Also listened to some good music: Slave Ambient, The Rhythm of the Saints, new Fanfarlo album, new Andrew Bird album.  All in all a pretty good weekend.

I notice a lot of breakfast items on this list.

Nah.  Oblivion was much more like it.

Did you get the idea to write this article after listening to the "Nerdist" interview with Conan O'Brien when he said that everyone will eventually have their own show and people will bounce around being "guests" on each others' shows, and the hosts said "you're essentially describing the podcast world."?  Because I

Those Delocated ads still haunt me.
