You can add the racist cop episode to that, too. After Uncle Phil dresses the cop down (brilliantly) for wrongfully arresting Will and Carlton, the cop tries to smooth things over:

Really? I feel like the obnoxious angle usually falls towards Linda/Louise pairings. They can be quite sweet, but also go overboard.

I love Bob and Tina. He's the best pimp she'll ever have!

I enjoyed Gene it On, but I think I know what you mean. Gene's real conflict was with the squad, not Linda, so their argument came pretty late.

I agree, I just can't single out anyone (Bob & Louise or Linda & Gene) because Bob and Linda support all three kids in their own ways.

(tearfully) "You used to watch Sesame Street."

There's gotta be some weird, compulsory nature to a lot of it. For example, peeing on the seat happens a lot with people who "hover" or are used to squat toilets, so they don't let their butt touch the toilet seat, and the seat ends up wet as a result.

Oh, sweet Jesus. I got a flashback from my (brief) time as a gate agent. The scariest feeling was when you heard "This flight has been cancelled, please go to the agent to rebook" and dozens of eyes would slide over to me behind the desk. They were like buffaloes ready to stampede. And the only thing worse than

Defecating in random places is common in a lot of industries, namely retail. It happens in big box stores like Target and Wal-Mart (people shitting in the fitting rooms), fast food joints, etc. But it's been known to occur in offices, too.

I remember the weird guy on the bus having a dog.

I thought that was him!

Jane Addams will always be the awesome doctor from Father of the Bride II, who not only delivered George's daughter and grand-son, but ended up being his daughter's namesake.

Yeah, I had no idea that he was supposed to be the real Bieber, just a rapper with the same name.

I immediately thought of Bender.
"I love you Bender!"
"Shut up baby, I know it!"

Jenny Slate was a great narrator, too.

No sarcasm here, I really enjoy your Titanic stories. There was a GJI! on Titanic a while back and there were several posts of yours that were so interesting.

Same. There was something so sterile and fake about Parenthood, despite any "hardships" the characters faced. I believed those people loved each other, but their problems never seemed as bad as they made them out to be.

I felt the same way. I don't dislike either character, but they felt so shoehorned in CW. Everything came to a standstill whenever they showed up.

JD Ryzner was my favorite. He narrated the Nellie Bly sketch (New York), and somehow he and Derek ended up taking a bath together. Then he drunkenly tried to kiss Derek, and I think they were eating yogurt.

Oddly, I've never heard it until now, but it definitely has that crappy jingle sound, so I can see why it would be in commercials.
