OK episode, not the greatest start to the season. While I wasn't expecting anything new (we already know Louise loves her family no matter what) the musicals didn't add anything fresh to the episode. Surprisingly, Teddy and Bob's excursion the toy store was much funnier.

I didn't mind the homage, it just wasn't that funny.

They ended last season on a musical, and began this season with one. And the songs were only OK, so they can shelve the musicals for a while.

Yay! I also loved Liberty Bell and I don't know why it gets such a bad rap. Dennis and Mac trying out their British accents is classic.

But wasn't she trying to do just that? Alex kept accusing her of lying and then he basically called her a living piece of shit that didn't deserve him, and he stormed off. It was only when Meredith and Stephanie got involved that Alex actually believed what Jo had been telling him.

Shocking is right! I realized that I didn't loathe April or Amelia this week, so that's progress? Granted, Amelia was only there five minutes for her marital bliss, but I'm still counting it.

I liked Callie, so I do miss her. I do not, however, miss her dumb-ass behavior from last season.

I believe that about DeLuca, but Alex wouldn't let her get a word in when Jo approached him. She wasn't really trying to defend herself, but tell him why DeLuca was there. Even later, Alex thought that Stephanie was just trying to cover for Jo and DeLuca, which was bullshit and Meredith said as much.

Seconding this idea. Even an occasional review is better than nothing at all.

I felt bad for Alex, but it wasn't like Jo didn't try to tell him the truth. The first time, he was blinded by fury, and the second, he just didn't want to hear it.

Jo is a surgeon, but that's all I know. And only knew that because she said it.

My Brother and Me was always on Sunday mornings, and I wondered if that was deliberate. Like it was so blandly safe and inoffensive, it was perfect for watching after you returned home from church, or something. I remember seeing the same few episodes over and over again.

Yeah, the trailers make it look better than it was. Once the "twist" was out, it got boring. And it doesn't really have an ending.

Good idea!

I was waiting for someone to mention the director as opposed to the actor.

For some morbid reason, I'm thinking it's a baby.

I loved that old school copy paper, which is basically one long roll. Or ream.

Rompers used to be something toddlers wore, but they're apparently a thing with adults now.

I enjoyed it. The twist explained a few things, namely Moore's character giving birth the way she did. I'll give it a chance.

It's been a while since I've watched NG, but this is the first time I've seen Nick as the happy one and in control of his life, so it will be interesting to watch.
