Schmidt's tiny cast-iron pan was adorable. He had every intention of making eggs in that kitchen.

The utter lack of footage is baffling. There are no clips of the nominees work; not even the leads. I suspect it was to keep it under 3 hours, but it's a real loss.

Shit, I knew Mary leaving was a possibility, but her and Paul? No, thanks. Sue and Mel's departure is bad enough.

Did anyone even give a shit about him or Elizabeth Olsen's characters? They could have been played by anyone.

It is misleading, but I enjoy that film. It has a great score, too.

Right?!? That's what I could never figure out. Supposedly William Hurt's extremely wealthy patriarch character paid off the government so there were no fly-bys, but I didn't believe for one minute that no one tried to enter the woods. Especially in the daytime. The stupid boogeymen wouldn't be enough to ward people

I think LitW tried to subvert its own twist. All the characters come to a certain conclusion, and then 10 minutes before the film ends, they go "Oh, wait. Nevermind."

"Disappointment" is right, and Brave is perfect for this AVC entry. It's not even a bad thing to focus on a mother/daughter relationship, but the trailers were completely different. Even the title didn't fit, but the original "The Princess and the Bear" wasn't catchy enough.

I thought it was the mother, not the father.

The worst part was when Bridget whined that Darcy could never muster up the strength to fight for her. Guess she forgot about the infamous fight Darcy had with Daniel. Damn, Bridget was a brat the second time around.

That's one of the sequel's problems was that it tried to have the exact same plots as the first, and none of them worked the second time around.

The best part of the fight is when Firth crashes into some guy's table at a restaurant and ruins his birthday cake. In between fighting Grant, Firth was gasping at the guy "Oh, I'm terribly sorry about this…I'll pay for your meal" and just kept on fighting.

Hell, I remember him from Outbreak and With Honors.

I lost interest after season 2, but I saw a few episodes on TBS a few days ago and I'd like to start watching again.

Pretty much what I was expecting. At least it's not as bad as the sequel, which truly was terrible.

"Y'know, the shrimp puffs are really good with this, I'll just add them to your order."

I love snarky interviews, but Tim Gunn is just so friendly and affable. The perspective he has on his father's death is quite touching, and the penny candy story was cute. I'm picturing a tiny Tim Gunn dressed in a tailored three-piece suit, sobbing over the pilfered candy.

Same here! Only seen his commercials, but I might have to watch PR now. Such a delightful, affable fellow.

I liked Van's "Why do you want me to be the angry Black woman?" I think Glover and the writers are aware that she could turn into the long-suffering girlfriend and are trying to turn that the other way. Pretty sure that Van still loves Earn and wants to support him, but he's gotta prove he can support himself first.

The Alfred/Darius plot didn't work for me, either. It was too surreal for me. Percy getting shot made sense, but it took me a minute to figure out the Migos thing, and then the plot just kind of ended.
