Aww, that was cute. Hemsworth is really good with comedy, I'm glad Waititi is capitalizing on that.

Really? Gaston looks like the more "fun" role, since he's an obnoxious braggart, but I think Evans is more suited for that, The Beast is supposed to be romantic at times and I can see that being catered to Stevens.
No, I can see that, no pun intended. That's how Belle knew the Beast and Adam were the same person, after all. His human form just looked so smoothed over and bland, hence the Ken-doll reference.
Luke Evans as Gaston is one of the few casting decisions that I think they got right, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he looks.
BatB was my favorite Disney movie, and I thought it was pretty much perfect. As an adult however, the timeline is weird. One of the film's major criticisms was that Chip (Mrs. Potts' son) should be considerably older by the end, yet he hasn't aged a day when he became human again.
Honestly, I still can't see it. This really does feels like some Magic Eye shit because I can see the bits and pieces everyone is talking about, but none of them resemble facial features to me.
I admit, in the animated film, I thought the beast version was hotter than the human. Something about Adam was so Ken-dollish.
Since Cogsworth is a clock, would this be considered body horror?
I still can't see Lumiere's face. And judging from Cogworth's, I don't know if I want to. It's like Magic Eye of the Damned.
Drunken explanation or not, works for me.
Yep, same here. Figured the season would end on a "Is she really dead?" cliffhanger. Until the money started swirling around, then I remembered the promo. Jerks.
Thought so. Thanks for confirming it. I guess they shot the premiere episode before the writers found out she was expecting. It was like two episodes later, Blanche had gotten knocked up by some random guy at the asylum.
I got why Dodo wanted the Abbey, but why did she have Peepers sign the paperwork?
I'll watch next season, but I hope they tighten things up. Surprised that they didn't do anything with Blanche's baby. Like many plots this season, it was just introduced and ignored just as quickly. Same. I think Flans played Hortense as a bit more slapstick while Ash was more deadpan. Didn't mind Artemis, but Ash would be my main choice.
It took me a few minutes to recognize Jemaine. He's good at disappearing into roles.
I had to pause after that line because I was laughing so hard. I know Paget was working on that Grandfathered show, but her absence was definitely felt this season.
Damn it, I really missed these reviews because LaToya summed up my feelings very well with this season. It had some good moments, but it's so scattered. One problem is that several plots took the characters away from Bellacourt, so it was less likely to see the servants like Garfield, Flobelle, Hamish, etc. I feel…
Yes! It totally spoiled the ending and I wondered if anyone else had seen it.
Facinelli is gold in that movie. Just the perfect mix of cute, stupid, and pathetic. The bit where he breaks down crying on Korsmo's shoulder is hilarious. Especially with Boyz II Men playing in the background.
