I'm not sure I could ever watch San Junipero again. At the time, I was going through a really nasty period with my partner of five years and had just started seriously considering my own mortality.

So this is totally irrelevant, but I just typed Amy Hill's name into Google and the first word I see come up next to her picture in the description is Deadwood.
And I'm like, "She was in Deadwood? I've watched every episode of that literally a dozen times and I do NOT remember that." But no, turns out she was just born…

I'm on a pretty heavy Mark Rylance kick since Wolf Hall.

I was honestly anticipating "Where is My Mind?" to cue up at the end of the episode. I mean, there's homage and then there's just straight up lifting entire conceits and then adding hacking and Christian Slater. Goddamn.

[Sigh] I will, because I'm that sort of really irksome completist that people have (rightly) taken to mocking online, but let's just say I'm not exactly looking forward to it.
