I've also never recieved coins for making the detours; only xp. The only way I've ever seen anyone get free coins is by doing the bonus case you get after collecting the bonus xp each day from the previous day's missions.

Agreed! How did they know that today and tomorrow are two of my busiest days this month?!

You don't need to use coins to upgrade/unlock anything. Post the announcement on your facebook wall and then copy the link to it. Paste that link on the threads in the Carmen Sandiego message board and you'll have a bunch of people clicking it in no time.
That being said, Bill Murray's films have made 1.4+bil, which is still pretty impressive.
The Cabin in the Woods
is a one that could be added to an updated list in the future. It was finished back in 2009 and was scheduled for a 2010 release. MGM decided they wanted to release it in 3D so it was pushed back to January 2011. Unfortunately, MGM had financial problems and put the film on hold indefinitely.
Not in lifetime unadjusted gross box office. Murphey's films have made 3.7+bil. Mike Myers 2.2+bil, Sandler 1.9+bil, and Will Ferrell with 1.4+bil. Murphey also does better than Sandler and Ferrell in average box office per film, although Myers does better (but again, this isn't factoring in inflation).
I've only read the first 75 issues, but I thought it was an awesome story and worth reading to the great battle (and especially the giant trade that takes one of the comedic relief characters and turns him into an epic hero - it's seriously one of the most amazing developments I've seen in comics).
WSJ published a story on it around the same time - http://online.wsj.com/artic….
I orginally misread that as Sci-Fi channel and was wondering why they were making an announcement about a show they aired back in 2005 (and in order, but probably not in high-def).
Yes, and I also liked the question about Maurice LaMarche (and there was a q on Itchy and Scratchy)
Not an A-
Ignoring the awesomeness of seeing Ken Jennings facing a computer, way to much of the earlier episodes were focused on being an IBM advertisement which really weakened the show and killed some of my interest. I wanted to see a computer think Toronto was a city in the US, not be told over and over how amazing…
Definitely has the improvy feel of The League, although not quite as pointed as The League. It's fun and I think it's a shame it will probably end up having to be pulled in a few weeks.
Battle for Algiers was great; it was one of (if not) the first films I ever watched for a film class. I think some of the extras/actors were people who had lived it, so they channeled that to make it seem like actual footage.
Managed to beat the game; pretty fun, although I'm not that familiar with Castlvania so it was partially lost on me.
Stand underneath him between the drop shots and then jump up and throw your hat when he lifts back up.
Did I imagine it or
Did anyone see a Scientology commercial?
I really liked the use of M&S in the Lone Star pilot. That alone got me willing to check out an album of theirs.
English major
I've got a class on R&J and film adaptations today so this is some pretty awesome timing.
I know "I wish I could quit you" quoting isn't that funny BUT
I'm taking a class on Shakespeare & Film and my biggest disappointment is that I can't do any projects involving that movie.
