Yeah, everything on campus is in the same Colonial Revival style. I think it's gorgeous (the look of the campus was not an insignificant factor in my choosing to come here) and I love the sense of architectural unity it brings, but it's kind of monotonous.

My roommate tried molly for the first time last night and had a weird reaction to it, so I spent several hours talking him down. That was an interesting experience.

I went to the Corcoran Gallery of Art (which is closing, alas) yesterday and saw some great modern art and since then I haven't been able to shake from my head the notion of vaginas shaped like Klein bottles. This episode was pretty well-received here at the time, which was particularly odd because reviewers who had gotten screeners had repeatedly declared it a crime against humanity. It's not a great episode (as you point out, the storylines are pretty rote), but it's not a bad one. I think it's clearly better than most

Gravity Falls is a really fun show, but I would like it better if its main character weren't also its most boring character. There are enough stories about 12-year-old boys that have already been told.

Why were you circumcised twice?

There's been a lot of great gymnastics set to the sounds of The Rite of Spring. My favorite will always be Oksana Omelianchik (shown here winning the 1985 world championships at Montreal), whom I firmly believe to be the best gymnast ever on floor, but if you're more interested in the avant-garde stylings of Olga
