Technically true, since two different men (and two women) have been Captain B. I concede.

    Psylocke
She was done a favor by getting her out of that ridiculous Captain Britain garb. Gah. Though, at least she had a reason from going white to Asian? Aren't there a couple other Marvel heroines who kinda just somehow changed races over time?

    Not so much, finale
I've been hooked on the show since it started, and oddly enough I didn't care who A was toward the end of the summer but wanted to know who it was once the winter premiere happened. At this point though, NO ONE CAN BE A. This is a bit ridiculous. A knows every fucking thing about everyone.

I love love love this album. For me, I never really compare The Strokes to Is This It because while I enjoyed "Last Nite" I never got around to buying the album. The first Strokes album I bought was Room on Fire, which has remained one of my favorite albums.

I completely agree. I never felt uncomfortable laughing — I grew up with the show and it was a lot of fun to just watch it and take it in. It was one of the most enjoyable times I've had at the theatre in New York, because everyone around me was laughing. Seeing adults who have so many more issues they had as kids

That makes sense with Karen's, I guess it just irritating that the show is gearing toward everyone singing the same kind of songs every week. Some of the themes were bloody awful, but a lot of them were fun and are Idol standards. Disco and Motown week being one of them.

I don't even mean cover songs like with Simply Red. I'm talking about the fact that Travis Tritt's song came out a year before Scotty was born and Taylor Dane's a year after Karen was born. I mean, really!

Really going hard with these changes
Not only do they wanna have lame themes to keep people inside their boxed genres (how the show can get rid of disco night is beyond me, it's always hilarious), they also worked overtime to get people singing the songs they wanted. Nearly half the songs people picked weren't from

    Definitely best Top 12 ever
This is shaping up to be the most exciting season of the show. The singers are all really, genuinely talented and there's a lot of different genres of songs being represented now instead of everyone singing bland Top 40 ballads. Except Clint is like my new Danny Gokey or Big Mike. I hate

    This show blew
I love the Housewives franchise. It's perfectly hilarious trashy reality TV. Atlanta and Beverly Hills are the best, because they're the funniest. New York is also good, which I enjoy a lot because I live in NY, but also because these women seem to have real jobs and have shit to do and then they like

    Very Alicia light episode
And an even lighter Will episode! Which is not okay! But her scene where she was gulping wine was pretty hysterical.

I was flipped in opinion when these originally aired
I was somewhat disappointed in season six, a little, but in a way I was able to fully articulate until the end of the season. Even then, I thought it was still mostly enjoyable, and I've come to enjoy it a lot more through watching the DVDs. But I think I also had

He's had at least some part in GG and Chuck, I have to believe at least some strong part because they have the same problems as The O.C. Stephanie Savage seems to be the opposite of story ADD, Gossip Girl is often written like a sitcom where nothing changes week to week.

I'd completely agree. Ryan Murphy and Josh Schwartz have had this problem for years with all of the shows they write. It works better when they play to their strengths and have parameters that can keep them in line (i.e. a clear story, a writing staff).

    Dullsville
I am completely disinterested in this werewolf pack business. Mostly because Jules can't act and even when Mason was on the show, I was tired of this werewolf mythology. I'm also not really feeling this whole elder vampire storyline at the moment. But the show still manages to be compelling week to week, so

    I'm somewhat interested
I love The Vampire Diaries, which came at a point when I thought I was sick to death of vampire shit. And honestly, I loved the Walking Dead pilot but the rest of the episodes were pretty awful and trying to be "intelligent TV" and failing miserably, so I'd rather watch a show about zombies

I love teen shows, but I was resistant to another vampire show. I mean, 90210 also blows through as much story as this show, but it's actually quite stupid and full of awful actors, so I'd never recommended anyone watch it. Sober. And without a concussion.

True, the first few episodes were a bit of a mess. But I watched them in a row and by the time they got good, I afforded it a "beginning series rough patch" pass. It was pretty good by November sweeps.

    YES
I really enjoy this show — it's as interesting and well-plotted as early Melrose or The O.C., but it's smartly written. Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec know what works, and if something doesn't, they burn through it quick.

I'd kill for a Hall and Oates theme
They were the only people who could make me momentarily care about Lee DeWyze last year, and I can only remember him in the context of that finale performance.
