Doesn't matter how much it's showing its age, FG puts asses in seats/couches. The numbers are there no matter how bad the jokes get. The same unfortunately, cannot be said about The Simpsons.

It's okay, I had Steve Wozniak and Spongebob Squarepants in mine. Damn my hubris! We'll make it through somehow.
It doesn't need to lose the Simpsons. As has been pointed out, it can live in reruns for eternity.
I'll believe there's a 4th season of Arrested Development when I see it. They've only been talking about a movie/4th season since… what, the day after the cancellation notice?
You can have Legends of the Hidden Temple back on TV if you can navigate the maze, arrive at the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, and assemble it without getting caught by a temple guard! (Note: you will also win a bicycle)
Let's not say things we can't take back. Although, I don't know, I could always go for a game show starring a bunch of functionally retarded contestants.
I'll grant you that, but he still treats humor like it's some objective thing where audience X likes comedian/comedy style X and nothing else, but it's not. Comedy is subjective and everybody has his/her own set of things that make them laugh.

Wow. Thanks David Cross, I really enjoyed the part when you wrote off the entire region in which I live as dumb hicks just because you played some bad gigs in the South. You know not everybody in the South likes Larry the Cable Guy, right? I mean, there are dumb people here, there's no denying that. But I've…
Oh fuck off man, if you honestly think Ron White and Jeff Foxworthy tell the same jokes, you're an idiot.
Yeah, Retaliation was actually a pretty nice album. But everything afterwards was him either coasting on his newfound fame or just trying too damn hard, so he really kind of killed his fame. Vicious Circle was just plain unfunny and I couldn't stand it. I really hope that now since he's been out of the spotlight…
@UMD
I enjoy Phineas and Ferb, but I hate gimmick posters. This post is tearing my feelings.
I saw Tosh's stand-up act before he got the show and I found him funny, so his on-stage attitude doesn't really bug me. And while every clip doesn't make me laugh, I find the show overall pretty good.
I feel bad for Swardson
For one thing, he's a pretty good stand-up comic. Being labeled as a Sandler perma-sidekick is real slam. And he really got saddled with the worst fucking role for this movie. I mean, really. He really must have needed the paycheck, or just really not given a shit.
Probably only as a comics fan. Writers keep trying to tell new stories with these characters (well, at least some writers are, but some are just Silver Age fanboys), so they're not at fault. Editorial mandate is the real issue. In fact, even over editorial, a lot of theories are floating around the internet that…
@Big Wheel: Somebody did, and his name is Geoff Johns.
OH SHIT GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! FUCK WE'RE ALL DEAD, GET THE FUCK OUT!
Whoa, you can insult the pony guys all day long, but the second you tell me to stop watching children's TV, you and me have problems, brother. Adventure Time and Regular Show are two of the funniest shows on TV today. Cartoon Network Mondays are up with NBC Thursdays for funniest comedy block.
