Let's face it: You're bored.

Of all the soles I've tasted in my travels, his had the most cumin.

Everybody know that "Football in the Groin" is by Hans Moleman. Banrey Gumble's magnum opus was entitled "Pukahontas" This is just sloppy reporting…

Aha - stealth Corner Gas reference detected!

"The last time Hart, Kreutzmann, Lesh, and Weir played together was almost 20 years ago and also at Soldier Field."

"Ze Goggles! Zey do NOTHING!" - Rainier Wolfcastle

Gotta go with a classic: If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?
(pronounced: If you wewe a twee what kind of twee would you be?)

You should definitely try to get Bat Chain Puller if you like the last 3 albums - it is the source for all of them.

I believe that Waits and Beefheart actually shared a manager one point in the 1970's.

Don't judge a musician by their fans!

I would not associate or compare Beefheart to Genesis (or any other "prog" rock band) - he's more like Tom Waits doing free jazz than prog, IMO.

Well, I think "Unconditionally Guaranteed" is much better than "Moonbeams and Blue Jeans" - at least it has the original Magic Band (Moonbeams features the faux Magic band widley known as the Tragic Band) and a few semi-decent songs (Upon the My-Oh-My, for instance)

Bovril and Butter (on Toast) is a British thing. Marmite and Butter is just disgusting.

It turns out that you can only get Time Fades Away as a T-shirt or as part of a 4-disc box set (vinyl). I would love to get this album on CD…

"Blessed are the bewildered, for they shall not notice the difference"
- St. Billy of Connolly

There was already an "Apollo 13 meets Castaway" movie (and it was made years before those two movies!): http://www.imdb.com/title/t… As a bonus, it has Adam West in a small role.

"Beware the Rock Ides of Rock March, Rock Caesar" - A Rock Soothsayer

I only saw bits of Prometheus (on a plane) but I completely missed the fact that he is supposed to be Ian Curtis. Puts a whole new spin on the movie…

Yule be sorry you started this.

God bless those pagans!
