There's a song on the new album about Broctune. It's called Brocturne.

This sounds like a story worth telling man. How did you come to be drinking with the guys from Xiu Xiu, without knowing who they were?

When I read it at age fifteen, I was discovering that and Siamese Dream at the same time, and I remember something awesome about reading the first chapter while hearing Cherub Rock for the first time.

I was pretty much on board with 6FU until I started the fourth season. And mid-way through the second episode of that season, any emotional investment I had in the Nate/Brenda on again, off again, on again, off agan relationship plot just disappeared, and I took the dvd out of the player and never watched an episode

Lone Audience: Haha shiiiiiit, I forgot about how clueless they were. Like when [character] dies, and they mull doing a 'murder in the projects' story, but go with a house fire or something instead. That was pretty much the best denouement ever, devastating and dark and funny.

And man, the bit where Scott gets an actual story, with the Iraq vet, and he's like "It's good Scott. Feels more… real than your other work."
